Four Bears

Monday Cartoon Day.

Even before Captain Easy joined him, Wash Tubbs by Roy Crane was a pretty interesting strip. He did not have his own Sunday strip until Easy got his own in 1933. Before that, he had a topper strip over The Willets. I never saw many of those, but here is how Crane filled that spot in the later months of 1932. With a series of 'games' introsuced by Washington Tubbs the Second.

Thanks for the post Ger!! HUGE fan of Crane's work on Wash Tubbs, such a fun comic strip! I can't carry the enthusiasm over to Buz Sawyer, though well done, I miss the whimsy!
