Last week I shared a couple of self made scans from the 1949 American Adventure story about the Pirate Jean Lafitte by artist Dan Heilman. After a week of searching and clipping, I now have the full story, including most of the dailes and a couple of the missing Sundays in blodgy black and white. Included with those are some article from the paper I took these. They were late to add Amrican Adventure to their line-up (the strip had been running for almost a year by then), but they did give it quite a push.
