Thurday Story Strip Day.
Of all the Milt Caniff 'imitators' Mel Graff probably was one of the most versatile. He started his own strip The Adventures of Patsy in 1935 and as early as 1937 he had morphed it into a spot on 'school of Rembrand' style. I don't know who wrote the stories. He may have done zo himself, but since this was a strip that was done from the AP syndicate, there may also have been a writer involved. Just look ate the night scenes at the end of this post. I did not scan these myself or even clip them. They were send to me by a fan of the blog a long time ago. There is more, which I will show in a week.
