Silent Might

Friday Comic Strip Day.

I am still trying to figure out what to do with the damaged disc of Tumbleweeds Sundays, but in the meantime here is another rare and forgotten gem: some of the Sundays of the silent panel strip that ran in many papers from the early sixties to the early seventies - but was never collected and completely forgotten after that.

“The Strange World of Mr. Mum” - is the greater reality of the world as seen looking OVER one’s glasses, like Mr. Mum, rather than through them? William Blake: “This life's dim windows of the soul distorts the heavens from pole to pole and leads you to believe a lie when you see with [glasses?], not through [like Mr. Mum?], the eye[s].”
