Tuesday Comic Strip Day.
Going through my scan files I saw I have not shared any Sunday Beetle Bailey strips with you lately. And I have quite a few. I will start today with the later samples, all still from the 'good years'. Next week, I will have a few from 1952/54. All this is in honor of Beetle's 60th year in the army. He enlisted on March 13 1951, after having tried his luck as a civilian for half a year.

As has been noted elsewhere, the center panel of the strip for 20 Oct '63 contains a standard in-joke amongst comic-strip writers — that the comic-strip reader is a moron.
