I Will Sallow Him

Saturday Leftover Day.

I always like to find new art or new artists. This week, I came across this piece piece of advertising art from the late forties, which is signed by a totally unfamiliar name. I looked at it closely, because the art itself remnded me of the work of Lee Elias around that time, but the name Sallows means nothing to me. A quick internet search had no results either.

Okay, follow me on this...
Since the product is named Robbin, it wouild look weird to have Robbins sign the art, so he went with the name of a different bird, i.e., swallow. Note that Swallows also has a dubble letter in the middle of the worrd. Or am I being too Frank?

Temping, but you would have to explain the missing 'w' in the beginning as well...
