Here's a little known oddity. Like Sergio Aragonés John Albano drew lots of gag cartoons for DC' Plop and horror comics in the seventies and eighties. Unlike Aragonés, he also had his own short lived daily cartoon panel years before that.

Yes, like Sergio Aragagonés writing was a sideline for him.
